Treatment for Shock

Call 111 and lay the person down, if possible. 

  1. Begin CPR, if necessary
  2. Treat obvious injuries
  3. Keep person warm and comfortable
  4. Loosen restrictive clothing
  5. Cover with USL Medical Thermal Accident Blanket
  6. Keep the person still.  Do not move the person unless there is danger
  7. Reassure the person
  8. Do not give anything to eat or drink
